Turnkey execution means the studio handles the project end to end rather than handing over drawings for someone else to build. It depends on the size of the home, the scope agreed and how much civil work is involved — a single statement room and a full turnkey home are very different timelines. The design process is the same whatever the configuration: site survey, layout, 3D visualisation, then execution.

A quotation sets out the scope of work space by space — what is being designed, what is being made or supplied, and which work heads are covered — so it is clear what falls inside the project and what does not. It is issued after the site survey and the scope discussion, because both the drawings and the material selection change what is being priced.

As early as possible, ideally before electrical, plumbing and civil work are finalised. Decisions like where a pooja room sits, whether a living and dining space is opened up, how a walk-in wardrobe is planned and where lighting circuits run are all much cheaper to make on a drawing than to undo on site.

Yes. Vastu is built into the layout from the start — kitchen and entrance orientation, and where the bedrooms sit — rather than applied over a finished plan, so the requirement is met without the design looking forced around it. It is worth raising at the first meeting, because these are layout decisions rather than finishing ones.

The studio has a dedicated site supervisor whose role is to make sure every drawing lands on site exactly as designed. On turnkey projects MS Interio coordinates the vendors and trades directly rather than leaving that to the client.

Yes. The residential portfolio includes full bungalow projects — the JVJ bungalow in Jaipur is built around a double-height living area with a floating marble staircase — as well as apartments, sample flats and individual rooms.

The studio works to the client's taste rather than to a single house style. Completed projects range from contemporary and warm minimal through classic-modern detailing with traditional mouldings, to richer, more decorative schemes in marble, brass and crystal, and to themed rooms such as a club-style entertainment den.
